Summary: In Groot Sint Michiel you'll encounter easily passable trails surrounded by the wooded environment of Hòfi Mango and the Calabash forest. Especially after the rainy season the humid valleys are painted with flowers and the birds sound like a happy orchestra.  The trails are set in relatively wooded and hilly surroundings. To the north there are several panoramic views including one over the former plantation Wechi and the ruins of its plantation house. Before you begin your walk it's advisable to notify the owner of the ranch to avoid unexpected collisions with horseback riders.
